Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish. :)

No matter how quickly I read, there’s always a list of books I didn’t get to in a year. Here is the 2016 releases version. I’m hoping to get to these at some point this year!

1.) A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess- I own this one, and I’ve heard only good things. I heard the author speak at NCTE, and she was great!

A Shadow Bright and Burning (Kingdom on Fire, #1)

2.) This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab- I’m a huge fan of Schwab’s books, and I really need to read this one.

This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity, #1)

3.) And I Darken by Kiersten White- Another one that people having been raving about, and I still haven’t gotten to.

And I Darken (The Conquerer's Saga, #1)

4.) Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake- This book looks so good, and now that it’s in paperback, I’m definitely going to buy it.

Thief of Lies (Library Jumpers, #1)

5.) Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst- Yay f/f fantasy romance!

Of Fire and Stars

6.) The Keeper of the Mist by Rachel Neumeier- I have to read this one for a book judge committee, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to read it now since I didn’t get to last year.

The Keeper of the Mist

7.) Up to this Pointe by Jennifer Longo- I’ve read fantastic reviews about this one, so I bought it last year, just haven’t had a chance to read it.

Up to This Pointe

8.) Scythe by Neal Shusterman- This came out late last year, and I got a signed copy at NCTE!

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1)

9.) Fate of Flames by Sarah Raughley- I’ve had my eyes on this book since it released, and I must read it this year.

Fate of Flames (Effigies, #1)

10.) American Girls by Alison Umminger- Another author I met at NCTE who was SO nice! I saw she would be there on the conference schedule, so I waited to buy so I could get a signed copy, and now I’m thrilled to read it!

American Girls

Bonus: Saving Montgomery Sole by Mariko Tamaki- This book looks so cute, and I love the cover!
